Your use of our services is conditioned upon your acceptance of these terms.

By placing an order with The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon you agree to be bound by these terms.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time with notice to you.

Booking

An event or order is only considered “booked” after a 50% advance payment booking fee is made.

The initial 50% advance payment booking fee is a non-refundable fee, which reserves the event time and date of your order.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 3 weeks before your event, delivery or collection.

Grab 'n' Go orders must be paid for in full at time of order in the Studio.  Where possible, all balloons are inflated 24-48hrs
before collect to check for any faults.  As a result, refunds will not be given if any balloons deflate after collection.

Collection of Balloon Décor

Once any balloon designs have been collected by the client, The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon accepts no liability for any damage caused during transit.
Please ensure you are happy with any attachment points on the display before exiting the shop.

Payments

Payments can be made by bank transfer, card or cash.

Failure to make the deposit payment will result in your booking not being secured and no balloons will be ordered for you.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Rescheduling- The client may reschedule their installation or order at least 1 week prior to agreed date.
if these terms are met the client may transfer their deposit over to another date.
The client can reschedule their order/event within the next 12 calendar months at the convenience and availability of, The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon.

Cancellation- The client maintains the right to cancel at any time.
However, we may place the order for the balloons and materials needed for your balloon decoration project the same day you place your order and pay the 50%
advance payment booking fee, therefore, we are not able to refund advance payment booking fees made.

Changes to orders

Requests to delete or modify elements of the designs can be made up to 3 weeks before the event or collection day although no refunds will be given.

Adding of design elements can only be made if there is at least 7 days before installation/event/delivery/collection.

Colour changes will result in additional charges to cover costs.

Grab 'n' Go Designs

Please make sure you are happy with your design before you leave the studio.  Please check any attachment points on both helium and air filled designs.  Once you leave the studio, you are fully responsible for your design and any person who interacts with it.  Please follow the safety points and care advice below and keep everyone safe.  For designs that require some self set up, you are responsible for making sure the design is safe and appropriate for the people interacting with it.  The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon take no responsibility for any Grab 'n' Go design once it leaves the studio.

Delivery and balloon installations

Setup time will be dependent on the size of the balloon décor.
These times will be discussed when you place your order or in the weeks before your event.

Delivery and installation charge fees depend on the location of the event and the complexity of the set up.
This will take into account any additional working hours, travel time and travel costs.

Arrival- Access to an event location must be secured and confirmed by the client with the venue.
The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon cannot be held responsible for delays or modifications if a reasonable amount of time is not allocated to complete
the décor installation.

Damages and non-collectable/missing items

Frames and props- Any damage caused to the frames or props after we have left the location of setup are to be paid for by the client.
Any non-collectable/missing props or frames will also be paid for by the client.

Flowers- Any missing or damaged faux flowers are to be paid for by the client.

By accepting these Ts and Cs you are accepting that any damages and/or non-collectable/missing items will be paid for by you, the client.

Material Guarantee

All materials are guaranteed to be as specified with the manufacturer.
If the supplier or manufacturer is out of stock on a product at time of order,
The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon reserves the right to substitute an item of like kind and quality.

Foils- During transit of any foil balloon displays the foil balloons may deflate due to temperature change,
however, once back in a warm house the foils will reinflate to original size.
Foil balloon displays are made, where possible, 24-48 hours before collection//delivery.
This is to ensure there are no faults with any balloons before collection/delivery.

Bubble balloons – Bubble balloons aren’t as robust as normal balloons and are very delicate., so please be gentle with them.
Once they have been delivered or collected The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon accepts no liability for them deflating or being damaged.
The balloons will be inflated, where possible, at least 24-48hours before collection or delivery to make sure there is no defects with the balloons.

Outdoor events

We use only the highest quality products and every possible effort is made to ensure your order will meet or exceed your expectations.
However due to the general nature of balloons, we cannot guarantee that your balloons will remain perfect and intact when outdoors.
Some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected when outdoors and
will also be adversely affected by wind, rain, extreme heat and rough handling.

Sun damage- on the off chance the sun is shining bright enough to cause any damage,
its worth noting that if left in the sun balloons can begin to fade in colour.
If it's hot then the sun may even cause a few balloons to pop.
Also please note that balloons can turn matte when used outside, this is due to them oxidising.
Balloon shine spray may be used but can cause stains and slippery surfaces.  Care will be taken but, ultimately, no liability will fall on us.
Final decisions on any outdoor installations are reserved and may change depending on weather conditions.

Safety warnings

Balloons can cause a choking hazard.
Once the balloons have been delivered and The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon has left the location,
we no longer accept any liability.
Children should be supervised during and after installation, to ensure they do not swallow any balloon or other small parts.

Environmental Impact
Foil balloons are fully re-cyclable and should be disposed off accordingly.
Latex balloons are harder to re-cycle but do decompose as they are made of a natural material.
Please pin it and bin it when you have finished with any latex balloons.
Please dispose of any other materials used in the creation of your balloon design as per your local authority instructions.

The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon does not condone nor encourage balloon releases of any kind and, as such, 
will not accept any order for balloons to be released
as this can have a massive impact on the environment, animals and wildlife.

Helium - Please do not inhale nor allow anyone else to inhale helium.
This is a serious danger to life and can cause dizziness, unconsciousness and even death due to lack of oxygen.

Disclaimers

We use professional equipment and material as intended for its particular purpose within all designs.
To limit the risk of damage we recommend that all décor remain in the position they were installed in.
As stated above, any damage caused to the equipment used, is to be paid for by the client.

Command hooks- If there are no photo hooks, other fixings or curtain poles available to hang any balloon décor on then we may use command hooks. If installation is in your home, your agree to the use of command hooks and agree to remove them according to the manufactures instructions.
Please endeavour to gain permission from the booking management when you book the premisses as to whether the use of command hooks is allowed.
Should you not gain permission and, on installation, the management refuses their use, we may not be able to install correctly for which we accept no responsibility.
If removed correctly these should not cause any damage to the application surface.
However, there is still a possibility this may happen or marks may be left.
The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon accepts no liability in the event this happens.

The Cow Jumped Over the Balloon accepts no liability for any damage or injury
caused by any of our balloon décor displays or designs or their misuse,
